I was new to the Russell Brand BBC Radio 2 podcast. I had seen all of Russell's interviews and broadcasted stand-up routines and movies which I adored. Ive since finished listening to the radio shows and was shocked to hear Trevor being humiliated and demeaned by Russell and to a lesser extent Matt. Am I correct in assuming that Trevor left because of this, and that Russell genuinely dislikes him? I am aware that Trevor interviewed Russell and Matt and that he supported Russell on stand-up tours.

I agree, the 6 music show format with Russ, Matt and Trev were the funniest. Now the Russell Brand show on radio 2 has been cancelled wouldn't it be great if Trevor and actual Matt Morgan did their own show without Russell! (not that I dislike him) xx

I feel the show has come on leaps and bounds since the departure of Trevor lock, and for someone who was adoured by Russ i find it a bit odd that he disappeared without a mention from matt or russ i wonder why. Could it be that there was a dark side to lock, something about that man was very odd. I think russell is somewhat attracted to weird and dark ppl i just hope he is more careful in the future now that the podcast is hittin america. Oh and heres a prediction Mr G is another dark figure he was in the nation of islam a group that belive white jews injected black men with aids lol why does he shy away from the mic yet he has tried to have his own radio show? i believe its because he has racist connections and it would not look good if he was associated with these ejhets, he also has proper gangster friends in LA which is never good

Contrary to popular opinion, Trevor Lock did not disappear off the face of the earth, just off the face of the radio. He has been appearing very regularly on the London stand-up scene and across the country (well, selected bits of the country). More importantly, he has been hosting his own very brilliant comedy show "Trevor Lock's Philosophy Society" in London, which ran weekly from late May 2007 until late December. He is now hosting a magnificent new variety show - "Warped - A Journey Through the Ages of Variety" every Friday and Saturday. He has also made fleeting TV appearances in Channel 4's award-winning comedy series "Star Stories". Trevor Lock is a fine purveyor of great live comedy and diverse entertainment and is even now planning another UK tour in the autumn.

As for Trevor Lock on the radio, I think he is still waiting to find his new Matt Morgan and/or Russell Brand! When the right combination finally happens I'm convinced it will have been worth the wait. Meanwhile, I agree wholeheartedly with your comments on Russell Howard and Jon Richardson - except for the fact that the two of them can bounce off each other beautifully and lampoon each other so brilliantly that I don't think they have any need of their own Matt Morgan.

I'd propose- an independent Palestine comprising of East Jerusalem (and probably even the Dome of the Rock too), The West Bank and the Gaza Strip. However, Israel would still be allowed to retain control of the Egypt-Gaza border crossing for its own security, and likewise there would be no military interaction allowed between the Palestinians of the West Bank and the Kingdom of Jordan. Israel would unconditionally remove all settlements from the West Bank and move its capital back to Tel Aviv. Palestine's capital would either be East Jerusalem, Gaza or Nablus.
Additionally, the Israelis would allow Palestinians to cross from Gaza to the West Bank through their territory without Palestinian passports- but the IDF would retain the right for border checks. Palestinian trade with nations like Egypt, Syria, and Jordan would be checked for weaponry until such a time as the Palestinian leadership is able to build up a sizeable, regulated army and police force which can deal with its insurgents such as those in Gaza and Israel and Palestine would recognise eachothers' existence as sovereign nations. Israel would renounce all territorial claims on the West Bank and Gaza and Palestine would on Jaffa and the entirety of the Israel-Palestine region save for those it has been allocated. This would leave Israel shrinking back to its 1967-ish borders with a friendly, stable Palestine. Palestinian and Israeli governments should ban political parties with an overly Zionist or overly Arabist or Islamist outlook which would threaten peace and the two nations would exchange diplomatic missions. Both nations would retain their Laws of Return and Israel would add more land to Gaza to help accomodate new Palestinian refugees.

The point I was trying to make, Haji, is that Hamas is in charge of Palestine as the people of Palistine are bloody fed up. Of course, now that they're in, it'll take a bit to get out, but if we maintain the status quo, as you are advocating, it will continue untill every single Israeli and Palistinian is tot. And nobody wants that (well, some people would be glad to be rid of the Jews and Muslims, but I tend to stay well away from them). Of course peace will not occur overnight, and there will remain the radical factions, but if nothing changes, nothing will change, if you see what I mean. There is still a long road to travel with an independant Palestine, but with it peace is easier than without it.
What do you propose, if not an independant Palestine?
